About the Company
The main aim of LYRA MINE MINERALS LLC is mining of strategic metallic minerals, necessary for existence and development of Ukrainian industry.
The company has a special permit for ore gold mining of Klyntsi gold deposit. It opened the way to start our business-plan and to acquire a land plot of 24 ha
(59,3 acre) area size, where the Companywill arrange an industrial site of the mining enterprise and the processing plant with obtaining of the marketable ore gold concentrate.
read moreThe Company has carried out an Environmental Impact Assessment of the planned mining activities on the basis of the resources of the Klyntsi deposit, during which public hearings were held. The highly professional and active position of our specialists during these hearings ensured the conclusion of an agreement with the local government on social partnership and participation in solving social and economic issues of the territorial community of the village of Klyntsi. As a result, the Company received a positive opinion from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, regarding the environmental safety of the planned activities of the mining company and the processing plant for the environment. In 2020, LIRA MINE MINERALS performed a complex of modern exploration works at the deposit. In order to revise the data on the geological structure of the deposit and confirm the new concept of ore body morphology, created by the Company’s specialists, the definition drilling of five drill holes (1,182 running meters) was performed within the first stage of its own drilling program. The core, obtained from these drill holes, was tested, and the samples, in order to determine the content and distribution of gold in the ore, were sent for analysis to Ireland – in a specialized certified laboratory of ALS. The obtained data helped to adjust the model of the geological structure of the Klyntsi deposit (in the Micromine software environment) and to estimate its mineral resources according to the classification NI 43-101 (Canadian national instrument). At the same time, the scheme of gold-bearing ores processingwas chosen and the modern technological equipment, necessary for it, was determined. A representative technological sample has been selected to perform technological research in one of the world’s leading mining companies – Metso Outotec. As a result of these tests, the technological scheme of ore processing was updated. As a result, in early 2021, a pre-design development of options for the discovery of the Klyntsi deposit – with the definition of methods of mining gold ore reserves and with an estimation of capital and operating costs was ordered tothe German company ThyssenSchachtbau. Subsequently, a feasibility study (FS) of conditions and a report with the calculation of the reserves of the first stage of the Klyntsideposit was represented. This report was submitted for examination to the State Commission on Mineral Reserves of Ukraine (SCR).The protocol of the SCR approved the reserves of the priority block of the Klyntsideposit and substantiated the need for geological study of the western flank of the deposit with the development of a single mining and processing complex. At the same time, theProtocol of the SCR of Ukraine dated 30.03.2021 № 5279-ДСК increased the resource base of the deposit. The results of the additional study of the Klyntsi gold ore deposit became the basis for the final financial model for its development and the next important steps. Thus, out of use mining of previous years were leased for the purpose of their restarting and further operation. Restarting workswere begun in May 2021. With the participation of the well-known German construction and mining company IDMG, the design of the first stage of the mine to work out the approved gold reserves has begun. As LIRA MINE MINERALS LLCemploys highly professional specialists who actively use the services of the world’s leading laboratories and specialized companies in the field of mining, technological and engineering works, the required amount of preparatory work for the mining of the deposit was performed quickly and at a high level. On this basis, it was planned to perform special construction and mining works in 2022, so that the first gold mining will take place in 2023.
